Maryann Kerr, MA is Vice-President, Philanthropy at the Canadian Women's Foundation as well as the Founder & Principal of the Medalist Group. With thirty years of experience in the philanthropic sector Maryann has served a number of multi-faceted local, provincial, national and international organizations in executive leadership and senior development positions. Craig Smith is the Founder, President, and Broker of Record of Ashlar Urban Realty Inc, a full-service Toronto-based commercial real estate firm. With over 25 years experience in commercial real estate, some of his clients include Canada’s leading entrepreneurs and corporations. In addition to being the former President of NAIOP, Canada’s largest real estate Industry Association, he is also incoming President of National Club and board member of CHC Student Housing.
David is a principal of Daniels Capital Group, Heathwood Homes and Sustainable.TO Architecture & Building. His company, David Versus Goliath Productions produces TV, film and theatre. He is Executive Producer of Acting Up Stage Company—Modern Musicals, a Director of the National Theatre School and Shakespearience Performing Arts, and an Advisor to Crow’s Theatre and AFC Canada’s Entertainment Lifeline. David and his wife Kate Alexander live in Toronto with their two children and a fox in the backyard.

Fred, a Chartered Professional Accountant, brings not only his extensive business and financial expertise to our Board, but also his long time passion and commitment to Gilda’s Club in his critically important role as Co Executive Producer of our It’s Always Something variety show.
For over 30 years, Karen has been representing Buyers and Sellers in both the residential and commercial real estate market. She is also an Accredited Senior Agent, excelling in identifying and transitioning the mature population smoothly and comfortably from where they are to where they want to be. Karen is a very proud wife to Tom, and the mother of 3 children and 2 step-children.
As a lawyer with Cassels Brock, Melissa’s practice focuses on all areas of municipal, planning and environmental law. She has also worked at the Ministry of the Attorney General and while in law school was caseworker with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program.
Tony Cimino holds the position of Senior Vice President, Total Rewards as a member of the Human Resources leadership team for Rogers Communications – a diversified Canadian communications and media company based in Toronto. His portfolio includes vendor management, employee recognition, health & safety, reporting & analytics, HR compliance as well as compensation, benefits, wealth accumulation and disability management program design and governance.
Tony works closely with senior leaders providing advice, guidance and direction on all HR program related matters. He also works alongside the Chief Human Resources Officer to make recommendations to the Board relating to executive and non-executive compensation, benefits and wealth accumulation program initiatives.
Tony sits on a number of vendor client advisory boards, offering advice to these service providers on their direction and strategy. Outside of work, he supports numerous charities and community events.
Tony holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Relations & Economics, as well as a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management, both from the University of Toronto.
